Applied Medical’s Operations team supports all aspects of our state-of-the-art manufacturing processes. The team
is responsible for component manufacturing and the assembly of medical devices. By performing each step of the
process to the highest levels of quality and compliance, the Operations team directly contributes to Applied
Medical’s commitment to improving the accessibility and affordability of high-quality healthcare.
Operations team members work in a collaborative, cross-functional setting to ensure efficiency and productivity
in daily tasks and projects. The team focuses on analyzing manufacturing performance and continuous improvement
initiatives, fulfilling customer requirements based on production schedules, upholding the standards of the
quality management system, participating in cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives, and planning for
future growth and demand.

Applied Medical offers a hands-on training program for those seeking a professional career in operations.
Program Goal:
This program is designed to develop Operations Associates into Production Supervisors within Applied
Medical’s Operations and Manufacturing teams. Operations Associates will work within a cross-functional
team to learn about manufacturing operations, quality systems, and production processes. Operations
Associates will also be involved in identifying and implementing process improvement projects and
planning for future growth.

Operations Associates are trained with a situation-based curriculum designed to set them up for success as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment. The curriculum involves classroom-style training, along with hands-on application and job shadowing to learn either component or finished goods manufacturing.
