SEPARATOR® ABDOMINAL ACCESS SYSTEM Gentle Tissue Separation  PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Applied’s Separator abdominal access system, with its unique Sequential Helix™ technology, enables atraumatic placement of laparoscopic ports without the use of any cutting devices, including metal or plastic blades. Upon cannula removal, the separated tissue re-approximates leaving a minimal linear defect.    FEATURES AND BENEFITS The elimination of plastic and metal blades significantly reduces abdominal wall and vessel trauma. Muscle fibers remain intact, holding the cannula securely in the abdominal wall.
